Shamna Kasim is an Indian film actress, professional dancer and model, also known by the stage name Poorna. In the South Indian film industry, she is known for her work.
Popularly known by her stage name Poorna, Shamna Kasim is an Indian actress who appears primarily in South Indian films. In the 2004 Malayalam film Manju Poloru Penkutty, she made her acting debut and rose to popularity when she played the titular role in the Telugu suspense thriller Sri Mahalakshmi (2007).
Since then, in many Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies, Shamna has appeared in leading and supporting roles, including Ali Bhai (2007), Seema Tapakai (2011), Avunu (2012), Nuvvala Nenila (2014), Raju Gari Gadhi (2015), Avanthika (2017) and Sathuranga Vettai 2 (2017). Savarakathi and Silly Fellows and Suvarna Sundari are among her next releases.
